MEET THE FOUNDER
Hi, I’m Freddy Castro.

Miner Creative was started out of my passion to serve others by drawing out the best (AKA the gold) in them so they can thrive. This is exactly why I fell in love with branding and design–it’s about finding the best solution to make the biggest impact. I look forward to helping you find the gold in your brand and helping you move toward your goals.
The Refinery Method
The Refinery is built on one conviction: you cannot express what you have not yet defined. Every engagement starts with the Core Intensive, a focused session that diagnoses your biggest brand challenges. The Intensive Brief it produces becomes the foundation everything else is built from. This allows us to figure out the right path and roadmap for your brand.
Explore
Discover the story, purpose, challenges, and elements shaping your brand today.
Extract
Define the strategic core, positioning, messaging and the decisions that determine how the brand operates going forward.
Express
Develop the identity, language, look, and feel of your brand so every touchpoint stays aligned to your story.

WE MIGHT NOT BE FOR EVERYONE
The right fit shares three things:
You believe brand and creative are strategic decisions, not cosmetic ones. The question isn't whether to invest, it's where to start.
You have the authority and the time to put these decisions into action.
You are ready to confront what's actually true about the brand, not looking for a surface-level fix.
This is not the right fit if you're looking for a visual refresh without strategic change. This engagement requires a specific kind of readiness. If it's not there, we'll tell you that directly and point you a better direction.

Many agencies and firms rush into creative explorations with concept directions, moodboards, visual options. The strategic thinking, if it happens at all, runs in the background or gets treated as a separate phase that rarely has real teeth.
We lead with diagnosis. The Core Intensive surfaces what's actually driving the problem before a single design decision gets made. The brand identity and website your team receives at the end are built directly from that foundation. That's what makes the output hold past the first six months.
-
Many rebrands start with visuals and work backward. We start with strategic definition and build forward. The brand identity, copy, and messaging your team receives in this engagement are built directly from a defined strategic core. That's the reason the output holds past the first six months. A visual rebrand without that foundation is decoration on top of an unresolved problem.
-
It's the central output of the Core Intensive. It maps the strategic tension your organization is currently sitting in, names the specific conditions driving the misalignment, and defines the root constraint your positioning needs to solve. It's the document everything downstream is built from — brand identity, web design, or both. Most clients tell us it's the clearest picture of their organization they've ever had on paper.
-
No. The Intensive isn't a formality. It produces the diagnostic clarity both sides need to confirm the full engagement is the right move and to ensure it's scoped to your actual situation.
Skipping it means we'd be building strategy or pushing pixels without doing the foundational diagnosis first. That's the exact mistake we're in the business of fixing.
-
It's not a discount. It's a founding agreement. You get the full engagement at a reduced rate. We get a documented case study we can use to build category authority. Three engagements at this rate exist. When they're closed, this pricing closes with them.
-
Significantly involved in Explore and Extract. Moderately involved in Express. The interviews, the strategic direction decisions, and the sign-off on the Founder Core Document require your thinking and your time.
The production work, drafting, and execution happen without you. If you're looking for something you can hand off entirely and check back in on, this isn't the right engagement.
-
Because the last one likely started in the wrong place. If the rebrand addressed the surface but the positioning conversations are still happening, the root was never resolved.
That's actually one of the clearest signals that this work is the right next move, not a reason to wait.
-
Businesses that are looking for speed and don’t want to slow down to do the work. Also founders who aren't yet willing to question their current positioning, simplify their offer structure, or make decisions that might reduce short-term revenue.
This engagement requires a specific kind of readiness. If it's not there, the work won't land the way it should.
